Nat and Rosalina Always Episode 14

Rosalina looked at a recent pic of Bobby and her then an older pic of Nat and her. She smiled at Nat's picture and bit her lip as she put them away. She loved the song Bobby claimed to have written, but she loved Nat's songs too...
"Come on fate feel free to kick in now!"

Nat had enough of this stupid competition between him and Bobby! He knocked on Patrice's door to see Patrice answer.
"Nat Wolff what do you want?"
"5 minutes I need to talk to you about Rosalina."
She sighed.
"Whatever, but hurry up! I can't be seen with a 9th grader!"
"Patrice I found out why Rosalina broke up with me and not happy about how you think you can manipulate my life!"
"SHE TOLD YOU?"
He decided there must have been a good enough reason to why she didn't tell him so he covered it up.
"No Secret Sam Watson told me!"
Patrice's jaw dropped. Sam was the one kid in school no one wanted to confront and was afraid of so it's not like she'd ever ask him!
"Well what are you going to do about it anyway?"
Nat shrugged.
"Patrice now Rosalina's kind of sort of with this lying jerk. I don't want him to continue feeding her lies and turning her against me!"
"Nat Wolff, I don't even know this guy and he sounds great to me!"
"Patrice listen to me! You are sneaky and deceitful like him! I think your sneakiness could counteract his!"
Patrice laughed.
"Like I'd ever help get the couple I broke up back together!"
Nat was now the one to smile.
"Here's the fun blackmail part of the deal! If you don't help me prove Bobby is a fake, than I'll post this picture of you on the school website!"
He held up a picture of Patrice picking her nose.
"How'd you get that?"
"I have my ways!"
"Your brother?"
"Yeah pretty much!"
she groaned.
"What's the plan?"

Rosalina was walking down the street deep in thought.
She licked her ice cream as Bobby ran up to her. She tried the other direction, but he was too quick.
"Hey Rosalina! I missed you!"
She nodded.
"Um Rosalina that's the part where you say I missed you too!"
"Sorry, but it's kind of hard to miss someone when they're always around!"
"Ouch, lucky I am too confident that you'll choose me for that to hurt!
She sighed and just looked down as she walked.
"That song, that doesn't sound like anything you would say!"
"Are you doubting my songwriting skills?"
"I've never heard you actually play so I wouldn't know!"
"Come on you know I'd do anything for you! Rosalina I need to ask you something... Will you please go out with me? Once! Give me that chance to prove to you what I've got! After that, you'll never have to see me again!"
"Whatever..."
"I'll take that as a yes Bobby! I'll pick you up at 7 for our date at el fresco!"
She nodded wondering why the word no hadn't crossed her lips.

Nat was in the corner of an alley.
"Okay Patrice he's coming!"
Bobby walked up past Patrice and he stopped.
"What?"
Patrice smiled fakely.
"Want to go out?"
Bobby looked back and forth.
"7 o'clock at el fresco?"
"Absolutely big boy!"
Nat's jaw dropped.
When Bobby walked away Nat jumped out.
"What are you doing that wasn't the plan!"
"Nat, your plan was dumb! Like he was going to explain his whole plot to a total stranger!"
Nat rolled his eyes.
"But he's going out with a total stranger! That's like no different! Now he's going to break Rosalina's heart by cheating on her for her date with him!"
"Why do you like her so much anyway?"
"She's the most amazing girl in the world!"
"Maybe in your world!"
Nat sighed.
"I guess I'll see you at 7 then?"
