  • The dispatcher didnt know what "incoherent" meant? Apparently scoring low on the Verbal part of the SATs aren't too important in her work! Wonder if she knows the word "imbecile"?!

  • Well apparently the grandmother didn't know what incoherent meant either, so it's just as well that the dispatcher asked.

  • The 911 operator didn't know what incoherent means? Incoherent means unresponsive or unconscious.

    Coherent = Conscious

  • I think she knew what the word meant, but she wasn't sure what the grandma meant by it.

  • I'm an EKG Technician and paramedic.

    Just b/c a call doesn't qualify as Trauma 1 doesn't mean it isn't an emergency. If the person THINKS it's an emergency, they should call and not give a damn what other people will think of them for calling.

    I can't stand when nonprofessional people tell other people what an emergency is.

    You can be in a Trauma 2, sometimes even a 3, and still need emergency medical intervention.

  • 0:53 OUCH!!!!

  • The dispatcher is smoking hot.

  • @thepiper2112 the dispatcher knew what "incoherent" meant. the grandmother wasn't using it correctly. It doesn't mean unconscious, it means illogical or not making sense.

  • that girl is older than me

  • never run into a glass door idiot

  • @whatever1210 thank god a lot of ppl now understand the importance of safety glass when you have small children around. i watched this show from beg to end, the series i mean, and back then, something like this, or having your child unbuckled from their car seat, not making them wear a helmet... not only did this show save lives in the sense that ppl knew how to react to emergencies, people learned what to do to prevent them.

  • she was like im ok grandpa not even knowin how serious it really was...poor child she could died right on dat counter in front of her grandparents

  • that must suck i love rescue 911 but it is also dangerous to run at a storm door exspecialy a glass strom door

  • @thepiper2112 I think most dispatchers, even today, have no idea how to help a family that's experiencing trauma.

    When you have a patient who's family is on the scene when it happens, you have more than 1 patient. I was told that in paramedic school, but I know b/c my sister almost died during a medical emergency.
