AZ just passed the nation's harshest profiling law, which could turn Arizona into a police state -- forcing cops to interrogate, fine, or even jail anyone who "looks" undocumented and leaves their wallet at home. Watch Congressman Brian Bilbray (R-CA) on Chris Mathews, arguing that you can tell someone's an "illegal immigrant" by their... shoes??!

It's absurd. Put your foot down-- sign the petition to President Obama to stop racial profiling and S.B. 1070.

the law has been reduced to giving law enforcement the power to ask for legal documentation when someone is caught involved in some kind of illegal activity... ie. assault, robbery etc... i suspect they generally use driving violations to seek out individuals & i myself have been pulled over so they could run a check on me twice, once i think they were just doing random searches, it was weird & the 2nd time they were suspicious of a passenger i had w me in my vehicle, a real estate client

The Law Enforcement types are usually pretty sharp;smarter than both of us;smarter than Monday morning quarterbacks like Maddow who aren't living anywhere near where illegal immigration is causing problems;let Law Enforcement do it's job;anybody who thinks the problem will be solved WITHOUT aggressive LOCAL enforcement is the true idiot...
