At this point in their career they were damn near a force of nature. Back then standing in line to get into Van Halen was an unforgettable experience. A tip of the helmet to all the babes who were there looking their best for the Big Show. Fair Warning is the best named album around!

@LOMAZ5150 Keep on rocking dude. Rock & Roll will never die because it's raw. I graduated high school in 1985. Nice to here the younger generation still has a taste of the good stuff...!!!!!!

I remember taping this video from some local video show that used to come on every week day at 4 o'colck way back when (along with all their other early videos/interviews) I still have it; the picture is grainy, the sound is in mono but its one of my favourite prized possessions. These guys were the band of my childhood!

The Oakland vids never get old. I would mostly watch MTV in the early 80s in order to watch these vids, waiting for them to come on. This and 'Hang Em High' are my two favorite Eddie solos. Yes, I agree that "Fair Warning" is VH's greatest album. If you were to ask most hardcore VH fans which are their two favorite albums, they will likely say "Fair Warning" and "Van Halen I." Absolutely wicked lick at 3:18.
