I think the biggest following is here. Now I've got a couple of engines I have come to meet many kind people (one even gave me an engine!) who own engines or are enthusiasts. I think it's a hobby for eccentric Brits!

You're absolutely right, old engines such as these have quite a following in England. Like many others over here, I live on the canal system and my home is a riveted iron tjalk, powered by an Indsutrie hot-bulb.
