@jesjulsgard well, you have a legitimate reason for ordering the diet, then. I was talking about the people who are on a "diet" but they order a huge burger and fries and think the diet coke is going to help them lose weight...

@SoarOfTheConchords Well you couldn't really tell in my example because I'm only one person, but the people always sit right next to me (even with other empty seats everywhere) and throw their bags/purses/children all over me and talk super loud on the phone. I wear headphones too...but it doesnt drown them out when they're right next to me! :(

My pet peeve is people thinking that ordering diet coke has something to do with trying to loose weight....... diet coke tastes WAY better than coke , coke always leaves a yuk sticky feeling in my mouth.

Found this through Household Hacker, and I'm glad I did. Jess, I can completely relate to many of those things, but don't hate on Diet soda drinkers. I acquired the taste from spending weekends at my father's house, and that's all he would drink. Now the taste of regular sodas seems weird.

I'm trying to come off the stuff completely though. :-)
