This was a video I made early in my PhD. Give you an overview of what I was working on. I'd like to note that nothing in this video is really new, it is mostly a reimplementation of Dynamic Shader Lamps by Deepak Bandyopadhyay, Ramesh Raskar and Henry Fuchs. Still, if you're going to make interactive SAR systems, you have to make things move, and drawing on things is a really simple interaction to implement.

  • Really nice! How many lines of code is that? What language?

    Great Job!

  • Thanks mate!

All my stuff is C++, with OpenGL for graphics, running on Linux. Most of the code has to do with talking to the tracking system over TCP, the actual OpenGL part is pretty simple, with just a triangle/sphere collision detection algorithm to handle the drawing. Projector calibration is an algorithm from Raskar and Bimber - Spatial Augmented Reality.

  • Nine Inch Nails and Portal ftw :)

    great video

  • Thanks mate!
