ok this looks like the same exact place that locke was brought to after he turned the frozen wheel and ended up in tunisia in episode 5x7. this is the same place charles widmore came and visited locke. i dont know.. but maybe widmore is the good guy, on jacobs side. widmore told john he had to get everyone back to the island.. and by doing that helping jacob. jacob did not resist is death, he knew he was going to die. he knew everyone else was back on the island to help is side. i need season 6!

her mission might be to help him be resurrected in lockes actual corpse, so we can have Jacob and his nemesis both inhabiting a john locke.

@sedredd Jacob probably knew that Ilana would die going to the Island as all he cared about was having someone to replace him and protect "The Heart". Ilana saved the candidates from MiB so she wasn't needed anymore.

Sigh. Look at my other comments... I know she isn't. It was a leaked detail during the filming of the first few episodes of season six and so the producers decided to not implement it and kill off the character. Why do you think it has so many thumbs up despite being wrong? It was true at the time. I just wish people would read into it and stop bugging me about it.

That isn't to say she is canonically btw, it's just what the writers originally intended to do. Another was revealing the name of the MiB to be "Samuel" which never met the final cut.

She was, it was just rewritten because the spoilers got leaked and thus her character was killed off earlier aswell. The writers are funny like that :/ I'd look it up.

1# why would he make the explosion that killed her

2# she says to ben 'jacob was the closest thing i ever had to a father'

@cuteangel469 Well, for one thing, they are speaking Russian. A doctor/nurse in a hospital in Tunisia wouldn't be likely to speak Russian. I also think (just going off memory) that just before this sequence, there was an opening shot showing the exterior of the hospital with a subtitle showing the location.
