Part Two of CONFLICT OF INTEREST also reveals that when the Pakistani government claims to be fighting the Taliban in its western provinces, it is actually fighting Balochi and Pashtun separatist rebels. Hundreds of their local leaders have been assassinated and replaced with radical Islamist Taliban, who have been terrorizing the people of the region. It is noteworthy that Pakistans treaties with the Taliban, always result in the Taliban receiving millions of dollars. Treaty or contract?

Every report coming out of Pakistan is sourced to a government official, and that government knows that if the world learns what it has been doing to its own people and to Afghanistan, the generous flow of assistance it has been receiving for decades will come to an abrupt halt. Moreover, Pakistani intelligence is very effective at controlling the message outside of Pakistan. An example is use of the term insurgency to describe the Taliban. Every Afghan knows that the Taliban is an invading force. They are from Pakistan! They are from Pakistan! is a constant refrain cried by the Afghans. It is stunning how few people are listening. A genocide is being committed against the Pashtun people on both sides of the border. The world needs to know.
