The boat looks like it's handling the wind ok, but it's also a short video. Myself I would of put in atleast a single reef. Why beat on your boat when you can go just as fast with less sail?

These winds are called "Popagayo Winds" and blow from the end of December thru March. You double reef the main, use a storm jib and a small staysail and you can sail with the boat under optimum forces - fast but safe. Ask anyone that has sailed Northern west Costa Rica. If your boat is rigged right and you know what you are doing, its fun, fast, but relatively safe. Here we were rounding Punta Elena with 4 clients. We made it look easy. Charter us for 2-3 days & you will see if it is bull.
