@wienercurds What are we to do, eh? Last night she went for another swim. She has taught herself to fish from the pontoon by leaning over and grabbing jumping fish with her claws. Unfortunately she can lose her balance and last night we heard a massive 'plop' as she fell in. She swam round the boat and got herself out again. If we had never encouraged her to swim, or train her to use the rope ladder, she'd have drowned a long time ago. She is a ship's cat, she lives on the water. Get over it.

Sukie my cat spent six months on the boat. Only went overboard once and swam round the boat before I got her.

@muiroford1 Millie falls in often. She likes fishing for jumping fish on the edge of the pontoon and every now and then she falls in! She swims to the back of the boat where we have a rope ladder. Since this normally happens at night she'll then come into our cabin and sit on my head!

When my cat was a kitty it fell into the toilet so i bathed her straight away and she was fine, that was at about 6mths old, now if i flick water over the shower door she does the bolt, soon as i get out she rubs up against my wet legs and dries me off. Also will only drink from the bathroom tap. Also goes out when pissing diwn rain. I think my cat had problems

ok people fact 1 cats who live in places that are hot like the water cats who live in colder areas hates water fact 2 any creature who has webbed feet can go in water and can swim so no its not abuse when u put a cat in water and it definitely isn't abuse if the cat falls into the water itself or goes in the water itself .
