To get the birds to where they will trap this easily has taken time and patience.... funny how those go hand in hand.

Just start by not leaving their feeding tray in the coop after feeding time. (Its also best to start this training while they are already in the coop since all of them will see it and start a feeding frenzy). Then when you bring it out to them get a "bell" mine is an empty maple syrup plastic jug with a handful of rocks in it. I also whistle the same two tone whistle every time. Soon they will associate those sounds with feeding time.

Never let your birds out full. This will cause them to go explore sometimes and not end up returning. You will know its time to start feeding them when they are roosting nearby within sight of the coop.

  • How do you make this loft?

  • what method do you use to make your trap predator proof ?? please respond URGENT

  • Yup no problem. Are your birds all homers? What are all of the kinds?

  • @pigeonboy121 you are right I shouldn't. You need to watch my other videos explaining better ways to water them. BTW I'm just signed into my other account.

  • You should not feed your water in containers like that what so ever! That will kill them of disease. Take a Gallon milk jug and if you look closely to the side you will see a perfect circle then cut that circle and leave a flat lip on the bottom and that way they won't dirty there water so easy and then kill themselves.

  • If they're like 2 year old pigeons would this still work on them?

  • I have heard the easy way with water is to simply let it stand somewhere in the weather for a few days to let all the chemicals disapate out, dont water pets straight from the tap.

  • awe babies cute

  • This is a much better view of your nice little loft. I still feel your floor space a bit small for 13 or so birds. So long as you get them out though you should be fine as your loft allows plenty of air flow. Cut a hole in a jug for waterer & keep it CLEAN! No standing in drinking water no way! Aquire Acid Pack 4 Way add it daily to water. Alternatively apple cider vinegar 3tbs per gallon. No more babies! Tossdart
