  • Oh,

you have to permit SSH on the router. I will have to check on that. I do have a SDM video on YouTube with the commands.

  • Hi Paul, and thanks for the viedo.

I did the same but when I connect the two ports together they show orange light then shout down!!

    I got the following msg:

Received BPDU on port Fa0/1 with BPDU Guard enabled. Disabling port.

    any suggestion

  • hi Paul, to put a range of port in one vlan the int range command does not work in config mode in 2950 switch. could you please tell me how to put rang of port in one vlan?

  • hey everyone i have a question. is it obligatory for EIGRP routing to put a loopback ip? plis im getting into this world and i dont know much about it. sorry for my bab english i don really speak it. Dominicano. Thanks S

  • @itikabc There is no need for static route settings. All 3 routers are on the same network which is 192.168.1.0 . If , for example, you change one of the above routers ip address to 192.168.5.1, then you would need to include static or dynamic routing protocol.

  • So in this kind of configuration. Where do you configure the static routing? On all the three router?

  • Mr Paulbrowning, thank you so much..very systematic, step by step explanation..i had a whole host of problems with my trunking and vlan configurations..i followed closely every second of this video.and was able to rectify every single mistake i made..thank you so much once again...=)

  • ssh runs on port 22.

  • Sorry I just saw they are in the same subnet

  • I'm new in Networking.Explain me.How can the FastEth of the Router comunicat with each other if they are in different subnetwork?

  • Should VLAN 2 already be accessible on Switch 2 with VTP?
