My song Technophrenia played in ModPlug Tracker. Song originally created with ScreamTracker 3 in 1994 for the Toronto MOD group AToMiC.

I added some informative annotations since so many people have questions about writing MOD format music.

  • How do you get bits of tv shows and other songs in there

  • @KaausHound Through the magic of sampling!

  • @spyro303 ._____. i know that, but mine ends up all staticy and muffled when I import the sample

  • @KaausHound It all depends on whether you're recording from a video file or from a cable running to your TV, your sound card, your software, your operating system, drivers, configuration, and even whether your sound card is too close to other cards in your PC. You'll have to troubleshoot this step by step.

  • Nice and oldschool! Ever get this signed?

  • @AcoustiksDrumnBass Not this one, but I got another song published on a compilation album after placing near the top of a competition. Since then I've decided never to collect money for my music. I only want to self-publish for free in open source formats.

  • nostalgic 90's

  • @koolkat33746 Now that I think about it, I think this sample is from the TV show The Twilight Zone

  • @moejoe1337 Thanks for making my day! :)

  • @AussieAndrew1990 Yeah right, I'm pretty sure he stole that sample from Reason in 1994 when PC sequencers and softsynths were soooo popular (not)!
