@NDzibyrules its either strength or flexibility. start with bent legs and over time, progress to straighter. work on your pike stretch also.

@DemonDrills how are you able to put your legs straight out? is that a flexibility issue? what can i do to help that?

Is it ok if, for flexibility reasons i can't fully extend my legs and so i keep them bent?

@pivotiano yes, but work on your pike stretch so that you can keep them straight eventually.

a 1-2 minute L-sit is a great goal to shoot for. Get there and you will have developed very useful and solid core stability.
