A classic gymnastics exercise, the L-sit is a phenomenal exercise for developing abdominal and hip flexor strength and flexibility. With the obvious similarites between parkour conditioning and gymnastics conditioning, an L-sit is a great core exercise addition to any traceur's training regiment.

  • Is it ok if, for flexibility reasons i can't fully extend my legs and so i keep them bent?

  • @pivotiano yes, but work on your pike stretch so that you can keep them straight eventually.

  • a 1-2 minute L-sit is a great goal to shoot for. Get there and you will have developed very useful and solid core stability.

  • @NDzibyrules its either strength or flexibility. start with bent legs and over time, progress to straighter. work on your pike stretch also.

  • @DemonDrills how are you able to put your legs straight out? is that a flexibility issue? what can i do to help that?
