Yes thats a Macaw Scream - A friend of mine asked me how could she get a pet macaw that didnt scream like mine - I told her... buy a print of a macaw and look at it.

Nope that's not looped. My cousins Macaw would litterally go a couple minutes at a time doing that. Sometimes it was annoying. Then it would act all inocent. But yeah somedays it wouldn't do that as much, and other days it would just go on for hours doing that scream

No, it's not looped. They really do scream like that. If you're not hearing impaired, you will be. It sounds like there are some smaller birds in the background that aren't happy about the screaming and it really isn't fair to them to subject them to this.

good advise. :) but my female, Lucy , has NEVER screems like him. she is very quiet, she talks once in a wile, but never screams.

in my experience, yes, but it all depends. I am the first owner of my female, and she was just about a year old. we bonded right away. i am Buddy's 4th owner, and he is a lot older when i got him. best thing to do is get them young and work with them to be friendly. Parrots really react to their human "flock" it can take years for an aggressive bird to trust, especially if they ave been treated badly in other environments.
