  • where are all these unfamiliar zones coming from, and how come they wern't in the games originally? DUST HILL ZONE, WOOD ZONE! What's next: AN ENORMOUS CASTLE DEEP WITHEN A SACRED CASTLE ZONE, ACT 1?

    Dust Hill, Hidden Palace, and Wood Zones were cut from Sonic 2 during development.

    The Zone in this video is a custom made zone made for this hack, as that was the point of this hack....to have new zones.

  • why do these people over at Sonicretro never combine their work and make a fully complete game? It's useless. Another great hack with emense potential gone to waste because the creator doesn't want to finish it or leave it open source!

    Amazing yet perfetic and pointless just like all the other great hacks. I'm looking at you Megamix! :(

    Because usually the people with enough art/coding/design skill are already working on their own project. Most people suck at it so I would not want to release the source.

    BTW, Megamix isn't is not canned anymore.

  • this is pretty sweet, ive just got a quick question whyd you use sonic 3 sprites instead of sonic 2, not that it matters just wondering

  • I like them better, and they use one less shade of blue so I also got another color to work with.

  • @RanmaruMori ya and genocide city and the others, for so many years it feels like there was never any throw-off in the game, but why not release a 16-bit sonic 2 called sonic 2 full edition, for the extra zones and the challenge. But for the cut out zones, make robotniks, boss machines, different from each and every zone so there's a new and revolutionary challenge each level of the game.

  • I like the way you transitioned from speedy part to slow part, but the way the springs launch you seems unnatural, sometimes

  • It would be cool if you used this in a Sonic CD hack, because it could be the good future of an intact Eggman base.
