  • nce cured is it too hard to drive a tack in? I would like to create plastic lasts for making shoes on. They have to be hard but soft enough to secure a tack in order to stretch the leather.

  • @efzt This plastic is too hard to stick a tack into it. The PT flex series or the 75 series rubber products might work better for that.

  • hi thanks for quick reply i forgot to ask i am trying to cast small parts similar to fantasy miniatures is the plasil 71-20 suitable or do you recommend something else.

  • @jamieoliver1976 I would use either 71-20 or 73-15. 73-15 is little softer but it is clear.

  • what material is your mold made of?, do you sell it? and do you ship to uk?

  • @jamieoliver1976 It is 71-20 Plasil. Yes, we sell it and yes we ship to the UK.

  • It looks like a black scrambled egg in the thumbnail

  • @brickintheyard If you can mold it, it can probably be cast in resin. We have a lot of customers making custom after market parts for cars.

  • I have a fiberglass console for my truck that I made, and I wanted to make some hinged flip up covers for the stereo and some switches. I took apart an old computer that had spring loaded flip up covers for USB ports that I wanted to mold and reproduce. I am assuming these materials will work? Excellent if they will!

  • Very cool!
