Immigrant Song - Led Zepplin (Cover) 2006

This was not the original band members! We had 2 weeks to get 30 songs together with a New Bass Player and Guitar Player/Singer, That was so fuckn smashed before we ever started, I almost left in the middle of it all! Just because of the goofy fucker on Bass. And I never played with those 2 Guys again! (Only 18 songs were completed)We tried for the 30! Frank Moreno on the Drums I still play with. And it was 131 degrees outside in July. Bull Head City AZ. in Hell! Not A good Day! But the Only Live footage I have with me in it.

lol! We asked him the same question that day! Him and the guy on the star guitar were both smashed! They got drunk before we went on and made for a miserable day! Needless to say they both were fired after the show was over.

I'm not the one to critizice since I've only been playing the bass for one year, but I've recently picked up this song, came to see some covers and the bassist is like fucked up. o_O

We had two weeks to get these songs done with the 2 new guys. We had lost our other rhythm guitar player and bassist for a couple months. One go fired and the other on drugs and got busted that we didn't know about? So we took what we could find on the spur of the moment. The sad thing was hey were playing awesome in practice The day we went to play live they were smashed before we started! But you just cannot say sorry we are not playing. So we did what we could and fired them after it was over

Even worse its was like close to 131 degrees that day in Bullhead City. Miserable heat! The he keeps turning around backwards to the audience giving us feedback in the amps? lol! Which made me have to keep turning sideways to avoid it! Oh well? Thats in the past and glad to say I never have to see them again! lol!

Well, he isn't THAT bad, he just improvised in the middle of a music which is made to keep the rhythm steady. Sure, if it was your own music, it'd be OK, but it's a cover, it's supposed to be well done and with some features of your own, not an entirely new bassline. xD

Im in Texas for the moment. Right now im doing a few things with others on the net. We have just about finished a song called Omnipresent. Theres a pre released version of it on my website under the X-Stinction New Album in progress that I will be doing this year. Im always open for new musicians to work with that are good players and thats can record there instruments well...

The worst part of the day was when Matt picked up a guitar and started playing a song in Eb when every one else was in E? I had to go a half step down on the entire song! He was drunk and that was just messed up of him to do. This band never went another day fron this day. He was gone! fired! But Frank (Drummer) and I had went on to another band that worked out for awhile before other stuff happened with the singer. Then I moved to get away from the Desert heat! I really had to go and start over

haha! not mine! This day was so bad! Nothing went right really? It was hot, feedback if I didnt stand to the side? I turn forward and the guitars screamed off each other! Thsi cover came out sounding ok but it was just a horrible hot day with a drunk! lol! There was a few other songs that were good on video I still have, but they werent full songs. The battery kept dying or it was turned on late or early? haha! That & we had 2 weeks to get all the songs done! That was hard! Over all pretty well?

Yes you will soon! Im doing a new cover in this next week I hope? Im looking for a video software that does split screen. If I can find it cheaply for now? My wife had a bad medical problem this week that took about $2,000.00 cash. There went the down on my boat? But ill make it back on the next couple gigs I play. I do private parties alot lately with other bands around this area here in TX, so all we be ok! But yes I wish I could find a steady band that really wants to take it more seriously!

qhere the only straight ones there that day. It really could have been worse with the heat also in mid summer. We were also having bad feedback problems also! Anyways this band broke up the next day because of all that crap. Frank and left those 2 behind. I dont deal with drugs during performances, if you want to drink or what ever? Do it after the gigs, not before when our reputation and money is on the line! Im no angel but I take my performances seriously for this much money. Thanks though!

It all could have been better! That was a horrible day, but the only one I video of the old band I was with. We had 2 weeks to get 18 songs down for this gig. The original Bass player moved because of a drug problem. And our lead singer also walked off stage after the 4th song on the previous gig. So we had to replace them quickly! Then these 2 were so fucked up they couldnt play half way right, and the Matt the singer kept turning up is amp higher & higher every 5 minutes. Frank the Drummer & I

I know what your talking about! I put this video up because its one of the few live performances I have on video? I was a bit pissed at him also. But I had to stay to the side because he kept turning around to us because of Matt the one singing. Matt desided to not go through the mixer with everyone else, without us knowing it and causing feedback from hell! But that was just one of the problems that day other than being 131 degrees out that day also! But thank you for saying that.

i clicked this video from somewhere, i don't know where. i love this song, but, i saw this bass player with his back to me and it pissed me off so i gave the vid a 1 star then i watched the whole thing. it really deserves 5 stars

Thanks, but Im the other guitar player with the silver Ibanez. Matt does have the Dean guitar though. Its a classic way before Dimebags time. The heat done something to his guitar in about 3hrs, and needed work. I stick with lock down Tremolos just for that reason. But some Deans are nice!
