ET and other REAL STARS didn't look like BUMS at the Soup Kitchen.
Oh and don't worry about any dergatory comments most of them today can't read,spell,
do math... And remember Basketball(putting a ball in a HOLE)..is the MOST important thing going it surpasses medicine,the arts. Putting a BALL in a HOLE remember that:)

i saw ET on a show w/Loretta Lynn in Chas. WV in about 1975. He put on a great show and was an all around class act.

@1950sRochabilly, Ernest never recorded any cross over sounds.. He covered Chuck Berry's 30 Days and a few orthers in pure country style. Ernest Tubb, along with Roy Acuff are probably the only country artists who never sold out at any time.
Classic stuff...Ernest Tubb, steel guitar, cowboy hats...and no ripped jeans, scruffy beards or greasy hair. This is what country was and still is to those of us who know the difference.
