To all posting that this is NOT a slow roll, MAN UP and post that you would lay this hand down if you were Laborda AND WHY. That is the key, WHY. There is not a single time in the WSOP that I would ever think of laying this down. Even if I was three handed at the final table and I had 50 million chips and my opponent with 50 million chips pushed, and the third player had ONE CHIP remaining, I still would not lay this down in. Nor would I lay it down on the bubble on the bubble in any circumstance. AGAIN, I defy anyone to post a slowroll longer than this one during a WSOP US MAIN EVENT ESPN showing.

  • @kstrauch2234 It is the NUTS at that point and he not only waited for the KK to turn over (which he had a right to do) but then paused some more and then nonchalantly flipped over his cards. Watch it again, that is a slowroll.

  • this is absolutely a slowroll ... hes way ahead of trips and flush draws. this guy is an idiot

  • @boddis1 Come to Vegas and the Asians will show you a slow roll, One the river, with the nuts, one card reveal at a time, 2 mins after the dealer stacked the dead pile. This is just an- I don't want to have him suck-out but if he does what will I have left- roll.

  • Not a slowroll with 2 flushdraws and possible boat redraws out there.

  • @MichaelMcDermott123 If I was Laborda in that situation at the WSOP event which cost me $10K, I would triple-check to see what could possibly beat me on the River. Unlike us, he can't see what Huynh has. Maybe he was thinking that Huynh had 2 spades clubs (2 spades and 2 clubs up to the Turn). I mean, it is the WSOP Main Event... and $10K...

  • @boddis1 ??? please elaborate

  • @hyepride23 You obviously know nothing yourself, this is 1 of the worst cases I've seen.

  • All you idiots calling this a "slow-play," you know NOTHING about poker.

  • What a Son of a Bitch! Should paired the board on the river and shipped is ass back to brazil. If he did that to me, I would knock him the fuck out on National TV.

  • @farronx And I don't care that the other players at the table keep quiet about the slow-roll for the most part. It's obvious why. They know Laborda is a fish and don't want to insult him to get his chips later (which they did).

  • @farronx This is not a 'slow play.' It is a slow roll. Huynh was all-in. Then Laborda "slow-rolled" in making the call.

Laborda never checks his cards before the call. He waits for his 'nuts' to improve and they can't. There is nothing to think about. No one can EVER lay this hand down in this spot in the Main Event. I don't care about bubbles or chip counts. You need to make the call or else leave your $10k at the window.
