Actually, I think Mr. Obama working on the south side of Chicago for the lest of these, instead of taking his law degree and movin' on up to Wall Street speaks volumes about his character, and what sort of President he will be. You are SO on the money about people not doing any sort of "real" research about the man. I'm lucky enough to have him as my Senator. I cannot wait to vote him in as my President.

Well, aactually Obama has been in elected office for three years more than Hillary, so I just don't accept that. (Him since '97, her from 2000.)

If anyone thinks Obama is merely speeches, they haven't done their homework. His substantive US Legislative record alone can be found at the Library of Congress website, all anyone has to do is a little research. And it holds up well to hers, which she is well aware of and that is precisely why she refused to answer the question in the debate last night asking if she thought he was ready to be US President. She knows he is! Speaking of words, a lot of these comments are 'merely' that.

How about last night's debate? She goes after him for for stealing his FRIEND'S speech, gets booed for it, then turns around at the end and TOTALLY paraphrases Edward's concession speech!! Hilarious-perfect-case in point. I'm not a Obama fanatic or anything, but at least he takes the high road.
