Final Fantasy XIII - Superstar Achievement

NOTE: The target time is dependent on your level (how far along you are in the Crystarium). Your times will differ from mine, just kill it quickly :)

Here is the way I killed both Orphan forms in order to earn the Superstar achievement in Final Fantasy XIII. Pretty simple method but it works best after you've got your characters leveled up some. Might be able to do this if you aren't leveled up, if so, good for you!

Hey dude im trying to get this achievement right now but i guess i waited to long because the first couple of times i tried to beat him i failed bad but now my party crystal is maxed out and i guess im too strong so when i fight him i kill him kind of fast n no matter what i do or how i beat him i never get any stars let alone 5*'s .. i been grinding missions getting crystal i thought it would be easier if we were all maxed before i tried it again but sadly i was wrong Can you help or am i SoL?

@LynxDeath07 In all honesty, you'll just to kill Orphan faster. That's really the main way to get a 5-star rating. I got my 5stars well after beating the game and maxing out the Crystarium so it's not impossible. I wish there was some better logic/technique to get it, but unfortunately I don't know of one.

Sorry mate. Know your plan well before hand, expect his moves as they come, learn where everything is (actions, items, attacks, roles) and click them ASAP when they come up.

How Did you get Lights 6th ATB gauge? Omega weapon or Ultima weapon?

@jobrossuck5000 Lightning's Tier 3 weapon is called "Omega Weapon". I play a lot of games and generally refer to the last and greatest weapon a character can obtain as an "ultimate weapon".

So, you achieve the 6th ATB gauge with any character by equipping their ultimate weapon, which for Lightning is called "Omega weapon". I also produced a video on how to get the 6th ATB slot which should be on my channel

@queolive When you first go back into Orphan's Cradle, theres is a 3-way split path. One leads to the Tesseracts (and Orphan). To get back to the Cradle, go through Eden Plaza to where you fought the Ch. 12 boss

i just got this achievement, very posssible with 5k hp and normal crystal progress (basicly your first run through it), used Lightning Vanille and Hope, Lightning main. went is as RAV/SAB/SYN. Went RAV/SAB/Rav when haste was out and went RAV/RAV/RAV. when debuffing was done. COM/RAV/RAV when staggered till he was dead, time was 1:15

Its easy enough to get 5star rating out of this battle, i had only my stage 9's filled and i caned him in just under a minute. Haste, bravery and faith are all you need to buff anything else is wasting time for Superstar achievement. Debuff was only deprotect, deshelled and imperialed. Its possible guys!!!!

@airmil123 hey u think it would be good if i max my roles first and then kill him ? and btw how can i get the best wepons for every character ? cause i just upgrade the ones that were given to me in the bigining of the game

this is imposible for me , my lightning cant learn synergetic , to much points to used

This is possible in first fight with ophan 2 in the game, all my characters had around 5k hp and my target time was 3min 41sec and I managed it in 1min 38sec
