On Black Friday (November 23) 2007, around 300 players on the Kalecgos server either created level 1 undead alts or escorted these "zombies" on their mains and decided to attack Stormwind. Much quoting of Twenty-Eight Weeks Later, Resident Evil, and 300 ensued.

These are level 1 Undead players, who just ran into Stormwind and died at the front.

I think a website organized it online. A few hours before the raid, the leaders of all three raids spammed trade chat for hours, telling people to make level 1 undead alts just for this.

ok im playing wow for 2 years now ( a 70 dwar fpriest. main tier 5 ish gear pve) and a 70 troll shaman (pvp) but i have never encoutered this. is this part from halloween or from Wotlk release? those zombies are npc but they can infect you in wich when ur not cured u become a ghoul yerself?
