I'm just gonna say what I think: Tamil people were fighting for independence and the extremist ones have gotten out of hand (the tigers) then now every Tamil is suffering the pain of politics, stereotyping, war and terrorism because of one thing - PRIDE. If people's pride did not get in the way it would be easy to put down the guns and integrate into a functional peaceful society. And I'm talking about both sides.

MIA, the truth is oppressed 300,000 Tamil civilians were rescued by Sri Lankan army who were used as a human shield for 30yrs by LTTE. War ended in May 2009, LTTE is eliminated, misguided LTTE rebels were rehabilitated and reunited with family and society. A new chapter has begun in SL we need peace and reconciliation. As a singer MIA can use her talent to support that cause and not a voice to murder and loot people
