PLEASE BEGIN WITH ALTERNATIVE NOSTRIL BREATH to center and balance your mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnijGHbvcWw
Part 1 of 5, Chakra Meditation, we begin with the root chakra, our primitive self, here we care for our base needs so we can build a solid foundation for ourselves and our lives.
Always start with your foundation. You may take your time with the meditations, working your way up through your chakras. You needn't do them all every time, but always, always work up from the bottom. You can not care for your mental needs if the physical is not first nurtured. You can not listen and aid another if your mind is not clear. And you can not connect with the universe if you are not open to all.

@ilovequiche
LAM is a seed mantra. It does not have a specific meaning, instead the quality of the vibration it produces balances the first chakra. Each chakra has a seed mantra: 1-Lam 2-Vam 3-Ram 4-Yam 5-Ham 6-Aum (Om) 7-Auh
