If you don't know the story behind this & have never seen "Standing in the Shadow of Motown", DO IT! People found out and are still finding out that it was the Funk Brothers who made superstars out of so many vocalists back then from the Tempations to the Four Tops, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gay. Now days, when someone says that a song is "by" the Funk Brothers it typically means that it's the original Motown master recording before track 8 was added with the vocals... which is the case here.
