  • Everything she says is so accurate...

  • Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.

  • the malignant sadness is a good book. i have bouts of 'depression' but i try not to put a label on it, i don't call it depression, because then it takes on a life of its own. i just accept there are good days, bad days, ok days. and i tell myself everyone has them.... that we become the thoughts that we have, we become the labels we place on ourselves..... so i dont call myself a depressive...

  • I found the book Against Depression ~ Peter D. Kramer (2005) incredibly helpful and informative!
