@nickothompson Not quite that simple. It depends a lot on what sort of raw you feed. Meat from the market - sold for humans - is intended & expected to be cooked. It's inspected for certain things and not for others. Meat sold as raw pet food - at least by certain suppliers - is intended & expected to be eaten raw, not cooked, and is inspected and tested accordingly.

To the people who feed their cats raw meat... you need to understand that cats in the wild (the serval for example) get the dieases they carry from animals that they eat...and corporate farmed chicken produced here in the United States is HEAVILY DISEASED... your cat will likely get giardia, among many other diseases. If he hasn't gotten it yet.. your lucky, or you just don't know that the cat has it... you should get him tested for all intestinal parasites! It happened to my savannah.

Yea! Cats should be given raw meat as it is a natural food for them. Mine eat indoor cat food and often given raw meats too.

This is hilarious! Two of my cats do the exact same thing when they eat raw! Especially with bone ;)
