MGMT played a new song at Guggenheim Museum in New York for 2days.
This song is 45 minutes length.
It`s like they say good bye to " Kids", and " Time To Pretend".

  • @RydetheTyde I totally agree with you! The reaction of audiences are completely divided. Most of all expected they play " Kids" " Time To Pretend", thus they are disappointed. In fact quite many people started chatting during MGMT playing. Yes, this tune is extraordinarily long.

However, rest of audiences ( specially people near to the stage) were intoxicated with this.

  • @pablooc I like your positive thinking! Now they are growing up and , anyway move on to next step!

  • what is he singing/saying?

  • @gungrave515 YES!!!!! this is the stuff ive been in thirst for. This is my absolute favorite band,And its fitting to my age like its suppose to be with all the vintage kids who try to keep the free spirit rolling.Ultra chill~

  • @RydetheTyde You took the words right from my lips, when i first got into them they had just already come to my hometown...can u imagine the pain i felt when i learned this? XDD. I even missed their live performance on SNL.I just want to connect to their energy in a more visual way lol.

  • just !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is music inspired by and played specifically for the occasion of

Maurizio Cattelan: All and the Guggenheim. I love this, it is an excellent new type of intertexuality. Thanks for making this video. I hope they use this as a hidden track on their next album or just release it on Itunes perhaps.

  • thats what i love about mgmt, as psychedelic groups mature the psychedelic tends to get "darker" sounding.. more chaotic?

but not mgmt.. they have such a natural ear for quirky bizarre catchy melody.

its growth from the last to albums, but its still the same mgmt.

    mischievous playful whimsical weirdness.

  • this is beautiful.

  • I really want to hear this produced and recorded in the studio

  • I made a big "NOOOO" when it stopped. I was getting so good!

    :<

I would love to have the CD of this performance.

  • @OASIS4915 what I would do to see mgmt live, and people don't care enough that they're talking during the performance.. I just want them to come to canada ):
