My LPG (liquefied petrol gas) -powered car / Ma voiture au LPG

My 1996 Fiat Punto that I bought back in 2002. 2 Years later, in 2004, I went really fed up with the high prices of petrol, so I decided to have it converted to LPG. It's really damn cheap & clean ! From now on, I couldn't see myself driving another car than a LPG car !

Ma Fiat Punto de 1996, achetée en 2002 avec seulement 15M km au compteur, j'ai réalisé qu'elle consommait pas mal (Moteur 1600 cm³) et vu le prix du LPG (GPL, disent les français), du moins ici en Belgique (0,45€/L), il était raisonnable de l'installer au LPG. Depuis, quel bonheur !!!

if you instaled cheap lpg system you will fuck up engine in no time, besides it doesn't have as much torque when you drive on lpg, furthermore lpg makes engine dry and injection pressure is much higher and that will affect your engine. You should drive 2 tanks on lpg and 1 tank of petrol this seduction makes engine lubricated.

That's partially right, in the sense that some engines (gaskets, valves,...) are really sensitive and could be damaged (Ford Focus, Honda, the VVTI Toyotas,...). It's all about metal quality. No worries for mine

Mine is not a GT. There exists a GT version (1.4L Turbo 133hp) but mine is the 1.6L Atmospheric.

Geen subsidies in Belgie sinds 2001. Ik heb 2135€ netto betaald, het was in 2004.

Jij krijgt zeker subsidie, aangezien je G3 rijd.. ;)

En daarom betaal je ook een heel stuk minder belasting dan G2/G1/LPG.. :)

You're right, but we use a wrong translation : In french , "Pétrole" means Oil. Hence the problem !
