Billy Williams Sky Flyer Llandudno

Orginally new to the Netherlands I think this was the orgininal prototype machine that Fabbri made.

This version is the 30m model standing a 100 feet high. Its not the towering dominating ride of the Funtime versions in Germany but this version seems the perfect thrilling height to appeal to families without looking too tall.

Sky Flyer takes 24 riders 100 feet into the air while spinning upto 70 feet in diameter.

Sky Flyer premired at Epsom in Surrey in April and this was filmed its first fair in Wales - Llandudno. From there it moves onto Ipswich and then will comence a tour to some of the biggest events and fairs across the country.

No that Starflyer was David Taylors DAL built one.

I couldn't think of a different song to use. But they did use a clip from the song "we're Flying High" at the start of the ride. THe orginal sound is not that great I don't think they were allowed to use microphones hence why jingles had to be used instead which don't sound as effective.

That said its a fantastic ride I would expect it to do well at every major event it goes to. I am expecting it at Nottingham Goose Fair this October!

By the way when I saw this ride yesterday they used the Star Wars theme tune jingle when the ride lifted up.
