In my last workbench, I tested the games, but showed very little of how I make them.

So, this time, working with the latest version of Kirby on Zebes Revamp (V0.09), I decided to show you a little something this time. In the original Kirby's Adventure, when Kirby's health bar runs out, he does a little animation; he flies up in the air, spinning, and then comes back down. Nothing fancy at this juncture; Mario did it in Super Mario Bros., Sonic did it in Sonic the Hedgehog, both of which had been released at this point.

So, this video shows me implementing that process using the "Path Movement" feature. In case you can't tell from the video, the Path Movement feature allows you to give an object a predefined path in which to move.

As for actually activating it, I set an event to when the health bar depletes to zero, to switch to the path.

A few bugs occur, but nothing major. I can fix them.

I haven't yet implemented the actual animation. Don't worry, I don't plan to let Kirby airwalk to hell--

Holy crap! That's terrible! I just realized something! In those games, Mario, Sonic, Kirby -- when they die, why do they go DOWN?! Not just that, they go up slightly, like a cocktease saying "Oh, you wanna go to Heaven? Sure-- DENIED!!!!" What have Mario, Sonic, and Kirby do to deserve going to Hell? My, my. That's quite the hidden message.

Anyway, if you're wondering what the music is, the first one is Digital Love (Hell Ektrik Mix) by Daft Punk. The second one is "That's Enough" by Hideki Naganuma from Jet Grind Radio. It might be loud, so...
