Here is my Modified 99 Chevy Tahoe

Was getting a Black Bear tune and was told to Seafoam before I go.

Here is a little Vid and a Writie up on How to Seafoam Your truck correctly. I spoke with Jim Davis @ Seafoam to verify all this info! My engine did not smoke alot b/c I did a complete tune up and Re-Did my Heads. While my heads were off I cleaned the UIM, LIM, & the pistons.

  • Nice Truck! I have a 96' Just like that with the 00' escalade front end. I have a question for ya. Are you using special aftermarket fender flares or stock chevy tahoe ones?

  • @Ruppster81

My Front Clip was pieced together from Junkyard hunting. My Caddy/Nali Clip is 110% GM!

  • @Ruppster81 Stock Fender Flares. Can be had from 2dr and 4dr Tahoes, Yukons. They are also on Suburbans too but I am not sure if they will fit. I pieced them together from the junkyard as well. Most Yards here in NY won't sell them unless you buy the fender too. I just pulled em off and said I found em on the ground. Got pics of your Hoe?

  • Heathmeador: I used a CLEAN Rag that I had sprayed Carb Cleaner on. Then I went over the pistons when they were clean with a new DRY Shop towel.

  • Marcusland: believe ir ot nor they are 15" Akuza's wrapped in Yokohoma ATS 255/65/r16. These are my winter rims (I have a set of 22" Powerder Coated Black Chip Foose Speeders). I got these at a junkyard for $50. I've seen them brand new at a local rim shop for $300. A friend has them in 17"s which IMO look better. Google Online for them. They also have them in different colors too.

  • 5.7L Vortoec

    Volant CAI with 4" Collector

    Light Cam

    Stage "One" Heads

    MSD 6AL Ignition

    Gibson 3" Catback

Did the seafoam in lieu of getting a Black Bear Tune by Justin. Out all those mods together and its like driving a whole new truck!
