Muammar Gadhafi's decision to pursue gold standard and reject dollars for oil payments may have sealed his fate

The war raging in Libya since February is getting progressively worse as NATO forces engage in regime change and worse, an objective to kill Muammar Gadhafi to eradicate his vision of a United Africa with a single currency backed by gold.

Observers say implementing that vision would change the world power equation and threaten Western hegemony. In response, the United States and its NATO partners have determined "Gadhafi must go," and assumed the role of judge, jury and executioner.

i ASSURE YOU , we here in the "west" are far from free, there is no ultimate freedom this side of the grave. There will always be someone over your head telling you what you can and cant do.

I lived in Libya for 2 years. It was a wonderful place. Crime free, friendly people and great beaches. thats y i know every thing was propaganda against gadaffi

This claim you made about Gaddafi weakening other African governments. gaddafi did so much damage first. these things u said were started by the previous OAU or now known as AU leaders but gaddafi getting help from the west was the one who paid money & weaken the African governments. now they want to get rid of him (like they did 2 sadam hussen) he is scared & begging the Africans. but still NATO, MUST NOT BOMB LABIA.

@waffiki Out of all the current African leaders. Gaddafi was the only one to stand up against Africom. Out of the current African puppets he was the only to ever utter the words 'Africa for Africans'. Whenever a Revoluntionary Freedom Fighter stands up in Africa and decides to use the resources of the richest continent on the Planet beneath their feet for their people and starts talking about a United States of Africa. Thomas Sankara, Samora Machel, Patrice Lumumba & Kwame Nkruma. They are overthrown by CIA, French, Belgians or England and mostly killed.
