when this song came out my big brother came home and said mom this is my song and it describes me to a T...shortly after he was killed in a car accident my a drunk driver he was 20 years old but had already lived one HELL of a life...the life of the party and a wonderfull playfull person...naturally we played this song at his funeral and as the tears flowed i knew he was ready to go when he went though we all miss him God needed him more R.I.P Steven 1-10-87--1-5-07

I had this song stuck in my head the day I burried my mother and grandmother. My mother died unexpectedly 3 years ago, freshman year in highschool and my grandmother this year after a week of suffering. They didn't have easy lives, nor do I but this song made me realize life's not jsut about the bad, it's about overcoming that and living, to the fullest. And if not for those tribulations you wouldn't be the person you are, or have the good things you have. Thanks Aldean for words of wisdom :)
