Thanks for the quick response! I actually bout this kit over the weekend for my son for Christmas. I love this video and cannot believe how real they sound.

What preset do you have it on?What kind of monitor do you recommend for this? I heard you could just use a guitar amp. Would you recommend that? (Sorry for all the questions, but thank you in advance)

no worries, the presset is called 'jungle' i think! you will find it! i dont advise a guitar amp for the kit, it wont boost the lower frequnices of the kit like the kick and toms,and would tend to distort!. for an amp i would look at a small PA system or small monitor, or even a decent pair of speeakers with a sub, i use logitec pc/media speakers with a sub just for personal use not for shows, i also use a good pair of Sennheiser headphones, the big dj kind, best headphones iv had!

This sounds great. Please forgive my total ignorance as I am NOT a drummer, but could someone tell me what they think about the overall quality of this particular kit? I am thinking of buying it for son for Christmas. THANK YOU

the quality is really good! i'd say its in the upper end in the market of electronic kits. i think it's good for begginers to pro's ; its fun to play and has 99 preset drum kit sounds from the classic rock stlye drum kits,jazz style,arabic drums, latin, electronic like the one in the vid, ochestral, and loads of others, you can customise a personal kit too; changing sounds for each pad. it has loads of other feature which i could blag on about!

yes it comes with a line out which is the 'headphones' output, left and right outputs and a midi output.

Great video, very realistic sounding. Is there an input on the module for me to plug my ipod into? Im thinking of purchasing this kit and it would be a great benefit if i could plug in an ipod and jam to all my songs :)

im not the OP but i do have this kit (video  avail on my channel/account) As mentioned previously, there is mono/stereo out via 1/4" jacks, as well as MIDI out. However you get your audio into the computer, Logic can record it.
