Yamaha V2 / DX11 pure

This is a lazy song with 11 tracks of Yamaha V2 pure.
Pure means: No external help like Fx, Eq etc.. All sounds comes directly from V2 into the soundcard without any plugins.

Yamaha V2 brings an 4OP FM-Synthesis without samples. You listen only FM. No layers. The panning is realized by the internal panner. Filterölike sounds are simply by FM ... theres no filter inside. I recorded every sound as a stereo file.

Here in Europe is the V2 a rarity from Japan, we only know the DX11 - the same synthesizer just with another naming.

@Cutrexxx Bei mir deepsonic.ch/deep/htm/yamaha_v­2_dx11.php gibt es noch mehr zu hören und sehen :) Das Demo ist schon etwas kurz, schon nur im Verhältnis zu den Möglichkeiten. Ist eigentlich erstaunlich was man mit primitiver FM hinkriegt. Man denke da nur an andere wie SY77, oder Software NI FM8. Mit Clavia NordModular hab ich auch einige FM-Dinge gebastelt.

Very nice song! I have a Yamaha V-50, the bigger brother of the V2/DX11, with the same sound engine (4-operator fm). Could we maybe swap some sounds etc?

I have a DX11, and there are NO drum sounds on it at all!!! How did you do this, and how is the V2 different from the DX11?

This is fantastic!!! Great arrangement. I didn't realize though, that the DX11 has drums. I used to have a V50, which had drums, and I believe it had the same sound generator as the DX11/TX81Z, but I didn't know that DX11 could do drums as well.
