H.I.M the shah of iran exile in panama part 4

this is the shah of iran's last interview in panama conducted by david frost. for all the people who know the story of the shah,today is a very sad day. it was on the 16th of januari, now 30 years ago,that the shah of iran began his sad exile from one country to another,which was to last for about a year and a half. finaly he was welcomed by his good friend anwar sadat of egypt where he eventualy died.

An Iranian lady in my office in California, USA...told me that the Khomeini regime paid poor people to march in the streets shouting "Death to America" and "Death to the Great Satan"....when I asked her about all these huge crowds marching thru the streets of Tehran.

What is GDP or Iran per capita compared to pre-1979? Is it like Cuba's...a disaster case?

@EdwardRommel: not only that but ive read that they got dead people from the hospital, made them look like they were killed by the imperial army and carried them through the streets shouting "they've killed again"!

Twenty years after he made this statement I was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. I thought of him often during my chemotherapy. I beat the disease thanks to modern medicine. Medicine which wasn't availble twenty years before, even to him. I feel great sorrow for my king.. and I miss him and miss the hope he gave Iran.

@neoperseus and lets not forget that he did not get the best treatment availeble in those days. he wa treated by a team of doctors who did nothing but arguing with eachother. i read about this in a couple of books. and its really horrifying how he was treated. and yet he allways remained dignified.

I hope the Western people in the know realize what they did to themselves when they "facilitated" the downfall of the Shah of Iran. Scum like Jimmy Carter and all the psuedo communists running the show in Europe are responsible for every life lost from the West and the East . any1 else c parallels between media coverage of Bahrain 2day and the terrible picture they paint of the monarchy there and what they did to the Shah? Protesters in Bahrain took over a hospital stole blood and have put on an oscar worthy show for international media! I hope I don't c my king in exile and strongly stand with him and the struggling people of Iran!
