Cantonese numbers

I saw a cantonese number tutorial and the person who did it sucked BIG TIME! According to my dad, I pronounce words very well, and don't have like a brittish accent added in or what he says a lazy prounciation. Sorry my computer is noisy. I would have used my laptop but I sadly killed it due to climsiness. Rate comment as much as you want. If you want to request go and requests. and i'll tell you weather I know that language or not :D.

Languages I do know (numbers 1-10)
German, Mandrin, Spanish, French, English (duh), and probly very bad American (as in have an american accent ; ])

what u said "五" is the same sound but different tone as 唔,which is "m5" in cantonese pinyin.

however. the pronunciation of 五 is "ng5". you can find its pronunciation in many cantonese dictionary sites.

you're wrong but 99% of the HKers get that wrong. it's more like we dont' care. we all pronounce it as m5 when it should be ng5. eason chan and the news reporters but that's coz they're public figures.

i see this as an evolution of the language.

I agree.If so many people get it "wrong" it's quite regular so ng5 is quite strange... o_o to me anyway.

I have been in Hong Kong 2 months ago and I have learned some words then. It stroke me that although HK is an English-spoken country the people who speak English are lesser and lesser. The language dies out slowly there.

Why they give the mark "hundred" the name which is free translated "one eight" (yat bat). Is there any logica too explain it?

@caketoysissocool o.o eh? i thought u did this right if ppl say ur wrong then that makes both of us since theres a lot of ppl who count in the same pronunciation
