  • @peter357 : In my opinion GHR are not so effective.

  • @spidercho I dont know the strength needs for high jumping so I cant argue. But since I started doing them I have gained strength in ALL other leg excercises.... And they are fun and challenging to do :)

  • @peter357 Yes, GHR works. I know it and do believe you. But I also know, one joint exercises come to fix some kind of imbalance, and if the whole training system is well balanced, you don't need them. For example, few years ago I could do one slow(!), full range down and up, horizontal and straight GHR w/o doing them ever.

  • @spidercho ...some more... Most of athletes are quad dominant and that's why GHR gives them benefits. CHEERS BRO!

  • @spidercho And cheers to YOU :))) And I believe also GHR is an imbalanve fixer and of course there are other ways to accomplish that! Either way, very impressive to one real GHR without practise :O. Must guys cant do that ever, and for girls its very rare to see someone who can do them at all!
