In February of 2010 Matt Alber flew out to the East Coast for a week of shows in Norfolk, DC and Baltimore. Mother Nature had different plans. After a fun show in Norfolk the weather turned against us. The forecast was so scary our DC venue even canceled on us 4 days in advance. That didn't stop us, we re-scheduled and moved forward. Just before our Baltimore show started the snow also started. By the time the show was over and we were driving back to DC there was 8 inches on the ground and I-95 was vacant, like a scene from the end of the world.
We woke up the next morning to 24 inches on the ground and started shoveling, we had 2 shows in DC to set up and perform. Not surprisingly, we were the only show in town that didn't cancel. Surprisingly, almost everyone showed up. Those two shows and the following house concert North of Baltimore the following day turned out to be 3 of the most magical shows I have ever been a part of. Here is a small clip from Sunday 2/7/2010 in Phoenix, MD.
