La Bamba performed by Hermanos Huesca on the Peerless label.
I don't know much about the group or the record, except that it was made in Mexico, most likely for the Mexican market, as everything on it is written in Spanish (it would have been marked in English if it were meant to be sold in the US).
I'm not sure if he would have traveled to Mexico, but one of the voices sounds a little like a young Desi Arnaz to me, but it's not likely to be him.
As usual, I depend on my viewers to help out with info, or to correct me where I err!

  • On tHe "B" side was "El Torito JarochO"? I think... i gOt a copy Of this same RecoRD xP

  • ha i have that very same record

  • Andres Huesca was the inovator of the harp from Veracruz. He was the first harpist to become famous in Mexico due to the beginning of radio and later movies in Mexico. Desi Arnaz was definately not one of his brothers lol. This is a rare recording. I have a version of La Bamba but its with his group Los Costenos not his brothers. if you would like any more info on Huesca let me know.
