  • @TetezuiAnimations . RCM stands for Royal Conservatory Of Music. I think you mean ABRSM :P it stands for Associated Board of the Royal Schools Of Music

  • @LGKxBEaTzxFTW i think you're talking bout in the U.S, yes in the U.S, it goes to Grade 8. But in Canada it goes to grade 10, addition ARCT certificiate set by The Royal Conservatory of Music.

  • PEOPLE, I live in California, US and there IS a LEVEL 10!!! I'm in level 9 and i'll be in Level 10 next year.

  • What a pretty instrument. The playing is nice too.

  • ur white piano is cool.

  • @wazfrmoz Yupp! I taught myself piano, and then finally got a teacher when I was 16. Was put in grade 8 and with a teacher and LOTS of practice I progressed and am now working on grade 10. you can do it!

  • Scary how she seems to only touch the keys and they explode!!

  • grade 10 in canada is the same as grade 7 or 8 depending on the exam board that you chose

  • @randompianoguy thanks guys, i really needed that, hopefully now, i will buy a digital piano and find a tutor.

  • @wazfrmoz Yeah, totally dude. Plus, your older and you have stronger fingers so you'll progress through the early stages faster. You could probably do maybe grades 1-5 each in a half year depending on how much you practice and your regularity as well as how well you want to do in rcm exams. Grades 6-8 should be in a whole year and grades 9 and 10 should take more time. I did my grade 9 when i was 16 and i did it in 10 months and i was having to practice about 4 hours a day to stay on top of it.

  • @wazfrmoz I started RCM Grade 2 at age 21 and now at age 26 I am at RCM Grade 9 hoping to pass the spring practical exam in 2012. It is possible, and if you practice every day, you can probably do it in less time than me, but if you have things like a job and/or Uni studies to focus on as well, it will take a bit longer :-)
