Is it from male goldfinche or from male canary? Could anyone mate male canary with female golfinch? Thank you.

@MrLol0099 a lot of breeders use a large type canary for breeding mules (Norwich) hens this should give size to the goldfinch mules, but it is now the trend to breed small colourfull birds with the smaller canaries like the (Irish) as for the females some are sold to pet shops as cocks or try to be sold at shows but most breeders will despatch the hens as its not worth feeding them

yes thats true i have only hade them live about seven years but thats been outside most of the year, i have heard of them living up to twenty years when kept as a pet in the house. the life span of a canary is about 5-7 years.
