This is based on something that happened in the early 90s. John Wayne Bobbit was a philandering and abusive husband, so one night Lorena Bobbitt cut off his whing-whang and tossed it into an abandoned lot near a 7-11 mini mart. Doctors sewed the thing back on and JW Bobbitt briefly became a porn star under the name "Frankenpenis." Lorena Bobbitt was aquitted on the grounds that she had been severely abused and was not in her right mind at the time of the "separation."
