I was lucky enough to see him play live with Fathead. Mr. Blues did a concert taped for TV with Ray Charles and Dizzy. You could see that Dizzy loved Crawford's playing. Hopefully, that episode will also find its way onto youtube.

I dunno, I would say "stole" is way too harsh a word. Sure, that's where he get his sense of how to play the saxophone, but everyone has to learn from someone- we don't try to reinvent the wheel. And since Hank is a master, why not learn from one of the best?
