  • that could be a timing, set up, or attack issue. among other things.. not necessarily a technique thing. if everyone has the same technique and heights, then it should clean up relatively quickly depending on skill

  • @littledrummerboymc

Not necesarially. as a technique for one may cause the knicks.

  • @PUR3GamingxHD yes it will make you play better as a line. if there's a knicked diddle here or there, and the two guys' hands are different, then that's probably why......same technique = clean

  • @snxpers

not true. Many snare players dont hold over top the joint. Check out the US Army marching band. They look the same, but if you look closely, they're a little altered. Whatever feels best for you will work. Using a "certain" technique wont make you play better.

  • @PUR3GamingxHD No, actually, on top of the ring finger cuticle is the proper technique. Part of playing in a line is making an effort to all look the same. This includes all having the same grip.

  • @littledrummerboymc

its whatever is comfortable to the player

  • @PUR3GamingxHD i know it's traditional, you shouldn't have the stick on top of the joint. the stick is supposed to be on top of the ring finger cuticle.

  • @littledrummerboymc

If you had braincells you'd know that is traditional grip for marching snares. College regulations require you to hold the sticks like that, so there's no point in learning matched for a snare.

  • @littledrummerboymc It aint wrong bitcH!!

  • SAME PAD. much smaller though. and his technique on his left hand isnt wrong guys, if it feels comfortable for him and hes getting the right bounce it's fine
