@lolMetallicaRS spicy did say that kirk can learn a marty solo... but what he is saying is that kirk doesent have the musical talent to come out with a solo record as good as marty`s.

@lolMetallicaRS Didn't I just say he could sit and learn a solo? But you said he could easily play what Marty plays, and I stated that musically it wouldn't happen. Like I said musically Marty is x 10 above Kirk and his playing reflects how good he is

@lolMetallicaRS But see he can't. He could probably sit and learn a Marty solo. But musically Marty is 10x above him. I advise you to not respond to this until you have checked out some of Marty's music (nothing Megadeth related). But his solo albums, and I've mentioned Cacophony.

@BeatBay Kirk plays in Metallica, he's influenced many kids to play guitar and sounds like shit (and Dave and Marty haven't lol?), stole the riff for "Enter Sandman" from Excel's "Tapping into the Emotional void", oh and you don't know who Marty Friedman is? Well sucks to be you, he was doing things on guitar that people like Kirk weren't even capable of doing. Go look at Cacophony, and his solo albums. Kirk is memorable but Marty is a pioneer of virtuosity. Can you play guitar?

ill probably get flamed for this because of weirdo crazy Dave fanatics but I think he was being a dick and full of crap for what he said about Kirk. Kirk is a damn good guitar player, maybe he was having a bad night,he WANTED Kirk to suck so he did in his mind. All the solos in fade to black are kinda perfect. The solo in Creeping Death is just plain great. Even when he went crazy on the wah pedal on the Black album. GOOD solos. ..AJFA too, kickass solos. I lOVE Megadeth, but cmon Dave...shut up
