Suggestions: Press the chin downward so that it touches your neck. The arms are above the head, with one hand over the other and the fingertips touching. The sides of the arms should press against the sides of the head above the ears. Keep this position of the chin and the arms throughout the dive. One leg is forward and the other is back, your choice. The toes of the forward leg should be over the edge. Raise the back leg, pointing the toe while pushing off with the front leg. When you enter the water, both legs come together. Glide under the water. If you have reached the bottom of the pool you may touch it with both feet and push off to rise to the surface. Dive in deep water only.

  • It's more a fall than a dive. Try just letting yourself go and fall in on an angle throwing one leg up behind you,( the other leg should eventually join the first leg ) and keeping your head down.
